When communicating by electronic mail, I prefer to verify the authentication of the mail's sender. If this is provided, I also prefer some privacy with my communication. In other words: If you want to make me happy, sign your message with your pgp key. If you want to make me more happy, send your message pgp encrypted.
Another way of making me happy is sending smart emails. Here, this means I like to get encrypted messages encoded as PGP/MIME (it makes answering them a lot easier). Look up RFC 2015 and it's successor RFC 3156, and make sure your Mail User Agent does comply to it.
More ways of making me happy by sending smart emails can be looked up on my German or English EMail Preferences Page.
